QUIT SMOKING THROUGH PROJECT QUIT!

Anyone who has tried to quit smoking knows that it is one of the more difficult things we will ever have to do. It can be frustrating, painful, stressful and depressing. We want to help you be successful in quitting this expensive and dangerous habit, once and for all!

Open Cities Health Center has a Project Quit Program at our Dunlap site in St. Paul's Midway area. There are several Smoking Cessation programs in Minnesota, although OCHC has one of the few in Ramsey County. The Project Quit program provides free smoking cessation assistance. At OCHC we offer a wide range of help through the Project Quit program with our physicians and other providers working with individuals who want to quit smoking. Services include:

  • Medical checkups
  • Individual counseling
  • Group counseling
  • Nicotine patches, gum or lozenges
